He is a rather small and sensitive male. He has a lot of style and eye and is very effective on stock without a lot of fussing around or waste of energy. Basque is a very good farm dog and he is Horst´s first dog to use with his sheep and ducks. He is forceful when needed, thoughtful and economic.
